Parents training

Collaboration with parents/caregivers to create the most significant impact in your child’s life. Every quarter, parents are invited to be a part of the session to witness first-hand the program that is implemented and evolution the child has achieved. Continued parent education supports children in meeting goals, promotes generalization and maintaining skills over time.

Third eye Transition program

Third eye transition program focuses on several social skills necessary for transitioning, such as: Following group instructions, completing independent activities, learning new skills in a group environment, and responding in group learning environments. All children who participate in third eye transition, remain assigned a 1:1 therapist to assist in developing these group learning skills, as well as generalizing formerly learned skills. The child is allowed to independently engage in the group learning environment, Therapists provide prompting only when needed.

The main goal of this program is to help our clients gain the necessary skills to make the transition to a mainstream school or to Third eye group education program as seamless as possible. The transition program is offered to clients that are enrolled in our 1:1 ABA services.

Third eye social skill program

This program refers to a wide range of interventions and instructional methods used to help a child understand and improve social skills. These programs vary significantly based on the age and skill level. Some examples are:

  • Initiating conversations

  • Eye contact
  • Greetings
  • Turn-taking
  • Expressing opinions
  • Appropriate eye contact
  • Waiting for others
  • Group learning

Third eye functional school

These are the skills that help children gain independence. Children transition into a more independent and typical learning environment while still incorporating core behavioural principles including shaping, reinforcement, task analysis, and token systems as needed for each client. Functional skills may include communication, choice-making, safety, self-care, and vocational skill, basically training the child with living skills that are essential for being an independent individual in society.

A One-on-one therapy is often the best starting point for treating and supporting children with ASD. Therapist work individually with the child, helps build trust, and families can slowly learn how best to support the child’s needs. While each child’s needs are unique, the program that will be applied would also be catered according to the child’s exclusive skill-sets and milestone.
